1.- Extra porter: If you want to have the services of an extra porter to carry your backpack for comfort to better enjoy your expedition, you have to make an additional payment.- The extra porter can carry a maximum of 18 kilos, he does not walk with you, he waits for you at the campsites with all your things so it is important that you organize a small backpack to carry your camera, water poncho, and some personal necessities. We can provide you with a large sturdy bag for the porter to carry your things.

Cost of a porter is: 120.00 USD. Load 18kg.
You can also hire ½ porter: Cost 60.00 USD Load 9 kg.

2.- Water: We suggest you buy a 2-liter bottle of water for the first day and use this same container for the entire trip, every morning we provide you with boiled water for your bottle, we suggest you bring purification tablets, if you need more water you can drink it from the streams , cataracts and take them with your pills.

4.-Bathrooms along the way, in the camping places there are basic hygienic services built by INRENA -INC, they can be used by visitors.

3.- Garbage: there are enough garbage containers during the tour, our porters are also in charge of keeping the camping places clean and are constantly collaborating to keep the road clean, we ask you to help us maintain it.

4.- Prohibitions: It is forbidden to uproot plants or collect orchids, carry alcohol or other types of drugs, make campfires, carry metal-tipped canes.

5.- Showers on the way: there is only one in Winayhuayna, the last camping place, if you wish you can rent it, it is offered as hot, but do not expect it to be very hot (it is less than lukewarm).

6.- If you get sick and need to return (almost never happens), our guide makes the arrangements with the help of one of our porters who has the instructions and organizes your return.

7. Additional money

Provide yourself with additional money (150 soles), if you need more money in Aguas Calientes there is an ATM.

The climate in the city of Arequipa and its tourist annexes such as Colca, Majes and Cotahuasi have a favorable climate all year round, with intervals of rain in January and February that do not hinder tourist visits.

In January and February, the rainy months, the tours take place preferably in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
