DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN PERU – LIMA
On arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, our staff will welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel. During your arrival assistance, we will provide information about the programme and the services booked. The rest of the day is free to rest or enjoy personal activities. Overnight in Lima.
Included meals: None.
Optional activities: Magic Water Circuit visit or dinner with a folklore dance show, subject to schedules and availability.
DAY 02: LIMA – CITY TOUR – FLIGHT TO CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:15, begin our tour of Lima, the City of Kings. Visit Santo Domingo Convent and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Centre, admiring Plaza Mayor and its principal historic buildings. Continue to the Larco Museum, home to an important collection of pre-Columbian art. Free time for lunch, followed by an airport transfer for your flight to Cusco, according to the confirmed schedule. On arrival, reception, hotel transfer and overnight stay.

DAY 03: CUSCO – CITY TOUR AND NEARBY ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning to rest, shop or enjoy personal activities. At 13:00, begin our tour of imperial Cusco, visiting Plaza Mayor and Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun, one of the Inca Empire’s principal religious centres. Continue to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive complex of enormous stone walls; Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial centre; Puca Pucara, associated with control of the road network; and Tambomachay, known for its channels and fountains. Return to Cusco and overnight stay.
Included meals: Breakfast.
Optional activity: In the morning, museums included in the Cusco Tourist Ticket may be visited, depending on the ticket type and opening hours.
DAY 04: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:00, begin our excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, travelling through Andean landscapes and visiting the archaeological complex and craft market of Pisac. Continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch featuring regional cuisine. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, an important archaeological complex with monumental Inca constructions. Transfer to the railway station to board the Expedition tourist train, according to the confirmed service, to Aguas Calientes, gateway to Machu Picchu. On arrival, reception and assistance in reaching the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU – RETURN TO CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, board the bus from Aguas Calientes to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 30 minutes. Enjoy a guided visit along the authorised circuit, discovering the history, architecture and extraordinary landscapes of this iconic Inca city. The visit depends on the confirmed circuit, route, entry time and ticket availability. Afterwards, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, take the tourist train back to Ollantaytambo and continue by road to Cusco. Hotel transfer and a special dinner courtesy of Cumbres Travel. Overnight stay.

Optional activity – Huayna Picchu Mountain: An ascent of Huayna Picchu may be arranged, subject to availability of the specific ticket, schedules, access conditions, physical demands and an additional charge. Adding this activity may require changes to the main visiting circuit and the day’s schedule. Please request it when booking.
Please note: Cumbres Travel will prioritise regular Circuit 2 defined for the programme, subject to ticket availability and confirmation.
DAY 06: CUSCO – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (VINICUNCA)
Hotel pickup from 04:30 for our excursion towards Cusipata, where breakfast is served. Continue by tourist transport to the start of the hike at approximately 4,400 metres above sea level. Ascend for around two hours to the viewpoint at Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), above 5,000 metres, to appreciate the striking Andean scenery and take photographs. Descend along the same route, enjoy lunch and return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 16:00. Overnight stay.

Please note: This high-altitude excursion requires suitable physical fitness and is subject to weather and operational conditions.
DAY 07: CUSCO – FLIGHT TO PUERTO MALDONADO – COCHA CAIMÁN
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado in the Madre de Dios region. On arrival, reception and transfer to the pier to begin the boat journey along the Madre de Dios River to our Amazon lodge. Along the way, appreciate the rainforest scenery and, with luck, observe birds and wildlife. Welcome, check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, take an interpretive walk to Cocha Caimán, with opportunities to see caimans and learn about this ecosystem. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 08: PUERTO MALDONADO – APU VICTOR LAKE – MONKEY ISLAND
Breakfast at the lodge. In the morning, take a guided walk along Amazon rainforest trails to discover tropical trees and plants, with opportunities to observe wildlife in its natural surroundings. Reach Lake Apu Víctor, surrounded by rainforest vegetation, to enjoy panoramic views and observe the lake ecosystem from designated areas. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Monkey Island to observe different primate species and learn about their habitat. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 09: PUERTO MALDONADO – COCHA PERDIDA
Breakfast at the lodge. In the morning, take a guided walk along interpretive rainforest trails, crossing tropical forest and wetlands to discover the region’s characteristic flora and fauna. Reach Cocha Perdida, an ecosystem surrounded by aguaje palm wetlands and lush vegetation, to enjoy panoramic views from designated observation points and look for birds and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for lunch. Free afternoon to rest, enjoy the facilities or join available lodge activities, according to the schedule. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 10: PUERTO MALDONADO – FLIGHT TO LIMA
Breakfast at the lodge. At the scheduled time, return by boat to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, according to the confirmed flight itinerary. On arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our staff will welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel. Free time for the rest of the day and overnight stay.
Included meals: Breakfast.
Important: River and road transfers from the lodge must be arranged sufficiently in advance to meet airport check-in times.
DAY 11: LIMA – AIRPORT TRANSFER
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your flight to your next destination.

TRANSPORT
Arrival and departure transfers in the cities and destinations included in the itinerary. Tourist ground transport during scheduled excursions. Ollantaytambo–Aguas Calientes–Ollantaytambo tourist train, according to the confirmed service. Aguas Calientes–Machu Picchu–Aguas Calientes bus. River transfers along the Madre de Dios River and boat transport during the specified Amazon excursions.
Planned domestic flight connections: Lima–Cusco, Cusco–Puerto Maldonado and Puerto Maldonado–Lima. Their inclusion in the price must be confirmed in the quotation.
MEALS
