DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN PERU
Our staff welcome you on arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru’s capital, and transfer you to your selected hotel. Free time.
Overnight stay.
Meals: Not included today.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES: If your flight arrives early, you can visit the Magic Water Circuit in the evening to enjoy its fountains.
We recommend Brisas del Titicaca restaurant, offering a buffet dinner and a show featuring folk dances from across Peru.
DAY 02: LIMA: CITY TOUR – AFTERNOON FLIGHT TO CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. At 09:15, begin our tour of Lima, the City of Kings. Visit Santo Domingo Convent and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Centre, admiring Plaza Mayor and its principal historic buildings. Continue to the Larco Museum, home to an important collection of pre-Columbian art. Free time for lunch, followed by an airport transfer for your flight to Cusco, according to the confirmed schedule. On arrival, reception, hotel transfer and overnight stay.

DAY 03: CUSCO: CITY TOUR AND NEARBY ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
Breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30, begin our tour of the imperial city of Cusco, visiting Qorikancha, the Temple of the Sun, one of the Inca Empire’s principal religious centres. Continue to Sacsayhuamán, with its enormous stone walls; Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial centre; Puca Pucara, associated with control of the road network; and Tambomachay, known for its channels and fountains. During the tour, make a brief visit to a textile interpretation centre. Return to Cusco at approximately 14:00. Free afternoon and overnight stay.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES: During free time, visit museums included in the Cusco Tourist Ticket, subject to opening hours.
DAY 04: CUSCO: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS + TRAIN – AGUAS CALIENTES
Breakfast at the hotel. At 07:20, begin our Sacred Valley excursion, visiting Pisac’s craft market and impressive archaeological complex, known for its agricultural terraces and Inca constructions. Continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch at Tunupa restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, an important archaeological complex with monumental Inca constructions. Transfer to the railway station for the Expedition or Voyager tourist train, according to the confirmed service, to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Reception on arrival, assistance in reaching the hotel and free time. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Optional activity: Aguas Calientes hot springs, subject to opening hours and current admission charges. Admission is not included.
DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the bus station for the approximately 30-minute ascent from Aguas Calientes to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Take a guided visit along the authorised circuit, discovering the history, architecture and extraordinary landscapes of this iconic Inca city. The visit depends on the confirmed circuit, route and entry time. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for a buffet lunch at Totos House restaurant. In the afternoon, take the Expedition or Voyager tourist train to Ollantaytambo and continue by road to Cusco. Hotel transfer and overnight stay.

Optional activity – Huayna Picchu Mountain: An ascent of Huayna Picchu offers panoramic views of the Machu Picchu surroundings. It requires a specific ticket and is subject to availability, schedules, access conditions, physical demands and an additional charge. Adding it may require changes to the schedule and circuit of the main visit. Please request it when booking.
Please note: Cumbres Travel will prioritise the regular Machu Picchu circuit defined for the programme, subject to ticket availability and confirmation.
DAY 06: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR – VINICUNCA FULL DAY
Hotel pickup between 04:10 and 04:25 for our excursion towards Cusipata, where breakfast is served. Continue by tourist transport to the start of the hike at approximately 4,400 metres above sea level. Ascend for around two hours to the viewpoint at Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), above 5,000 metres, to appreciate its striking multicoloured formations and Andean scenery. Time for photographs and an explanation from the guide. Descend along the same route, enjoy lunch and return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:00. Overnight stay.

DAY 07: CUSCO – LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima. End of our services. Please allow sufficient connecting time for international flights.
